Elections 2013: President Obama's Message to the People of Kenya

President Obama took time off his schedule to send this message to Kenyan's. This signals the significant role US attaches to Kenya as a gateway to this region. Also, it shows that president Obama has not broken his links with his Kenyan roots.
This could also be a message to the ruling elites that US is closely watching Kenya as we head to the polls.
Presidents Obama message was received with a mixture of good sentiments especially the candidates appreciating the US stance of NOT having a candidate in the race [so they say]. There we're others who question if there has been any other country that POTUS has taken time to send a message.
However, the tweet of the day was this;

Africa Features Nowhere in President Obama’s Second Term Agenda

President Barack Obama's second term inauguration is taking place on Monday January 21, 2013. This marks the start of his second and last term in office. This being so a number of think tanks have prepared a set of briefs outlining what the president should strive to achieve in his second term in office. One glaring thing about most of these briefs is Africa is nowhere in their Agenda. At-least from the very top.
Which raises the question. Should the US and Europe for that matter have problems with countries that bet on Africa?

Should Magical Kenya utilize this opportunity & offer Donald Trump a Safari to Kenya

The internet was abuzz last week first with the major announcement that was expected from Mr. Donald Trump. Second, with the response from the president that followed Mr. Trump’s 'big announcement'.
The US  president appeared on Jey Leno Late Night Show and gave his response to Mr. Trump. This response should make a good campaign platform for Brand Kenya to exploit. The US President offered what in politics can be equated to an ‘endorsement’of growing up in Kenya. Here is the verbatim plus the extract from his appearance on Jay Leno.
‘This all dates back when we we're all growing up in Kenya’
In my opinion Brand Kenya through Magical Kenya should offer both Mr. Trump & the president a Safari to Kenya. That way Kenya can ride on top of this wave of this publicity.
This visit would also offer Mr. Donald an opportunity to have a good time and also ‘catch-up with his childhood friends’. Also, I would be prepared to take him around to some really good galleries should he accept the offer pro-bono. I know he is a collector and perhaps Kenyan Art can bring to rest his problems with the president.
