The news that the new ICC Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda filed a
notice to withdraw the charges against Francis Muthaura (the former head of
civil service) took us by surprised to say the least. In a move that could lead
to weakening of the case before the court involving the President elect Mr. Uhuru
Kenyatta.
There seems to be a shift in thinking among the elite on the
ICC court and the justice that it can offer to Kenyans.
